Students must return to the castle by 5PM. february SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 08 • Quidditch match – Gryffindor versus Ravenclaw. MONDAY, FEBRUARY 10 • Potions Club begins selling faux love potion necklaces for a galleon each. FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 14 • No class. • Valentine’s day dance in the Great Hall at 8PM. SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 15 • Inquisitorial Squad: The case of Dense Santos, fifth year, and Wilbur Teague, fourth year (Santos versus Teague). Denise accuses Wilbur of dousing her with a love potion and making her cheat on her boyfriend, Frank Elderbee, with Wilbur during the dance. FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 24 • The Muggle Studies Club visits Buckingham Palace. The weekend trip to London ends when they return Sunday at 6AM. SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 21 • Hogsmeade trip. Students must return to the castle by 5PM. march SATURDAY, MARCH 01 • Quidditch match – Ravenclaw versus Slytherin. Quidditch scouts attend the match. FRIDAY, MARCH 07 • Carnival Day. Each club has one booth at the carnival and the best or most popular booth wins extra funding for the club to take an end-of-the-year trip. There is also ice skating and a fireworks show. SATURDAY, MARCH 08 • Hogsmeade trip. Students must return to the castle by 5PM. SATURDAY, MARCH 15 • Quidditch match – Gryffindor versus Hufflepuff. Quidditch scouts attend the match. FRIDAY, MARCH 21 • Apparation test for those in the course at 4PM. • Gobstones Club travels to Massachusetts, USA to compete against the Salem Witches Institute Gobstones Team. The trip ends when they return Sunday at 6AM. SATURDAY, MARCH 25 • Inquisitorial Squad is canceled due to dungbombs being set off in the interrogation room four minutes before the trial starts. april SATURDAY, APRIL 05 • Easter holidays begin. • Hogwarts Express leaves at 11AM. SUNDAY, APRIL 19 • Easter holidays end. SATURDAY, APRIL 26 • Quidditch match – Gryffindor versus Slytherin. Quidditch scouts attend the match. SUNDAY, APRIL 27 • Art Club hosts their seasonal art show. Spring-themed paintings and sketches are displayed in sections of the Great Hall surrounding the artist’s name. FRIDAY, MAY 16 • Winning club from carnival goes on their field trip of choice. • The Brazil Academy of Magic’s Gobstones Club visits Hogwarts for a tournament. They leave on Sunday at 6AM. Students are encouraged to blow off club meetings and classes and spend the day outside by the lake, swimming and sunbathing. Organized by the Slug Club. FRIDAY, JUNE 13 • Friday the Thirteenth prank day. Students are encouraged to play harmless pranks one one another in the spirit of the unlucky day, if they can get away with it.
